Nature's Beckoning Call

Nature's Beckoning Call One blade of grass out drifting in the wind Nature beckons the calling of a new day We must humbly bow the knee to pray An angel whispers tenderly in the air There's something stirring in the wind tonight Those shallow promises made in the dark Have now taken flight save the day we met We treasured a red rose that was plucked before Side walk fancy sipping pink lemonade with a straw There's lines being drawn in the sand when to understand A call for freedom with young hearts bleeding in the night Sends a shiver down my spine to embrace so sublime A seed dropped out of a farmer's bag in time roots sprung up The farmers returns to find a whole host of weeds Still we whitle a sweet song through the green leaves An acorn was attached of a squirells tail at the end To care for the widow in her distress & sorrow A bitter fight and you can't even cope Having a battle with the Old Spiced soap on the rope Let the wind blow where it will God is busy creating a heart that's close to him Softly & tenderly the band played on right into the night
