Nature Calls

Nature calls from a distance, The daughter it has nurtured, From conception till now. Like the Israelites, I listen to the voice that implores me from a far, Telling me to love again. Truth be told, I want to learn how to love again, But I just have not made up my mind. I want be soothed as I sleep, But I haven't learnt to trust again. I want to call a man my man, But I only see brothers around. To the call of nature, I'll respond when I've reached the snow line, Of the mount rwenzori; Less than that, My heart is my life, It shall harbour no man, But me.
