Nature
Nature tends her world
causing life anew
taking care of gentle shoots
giving them sun and rain.
Encouraging them to grow
watching leaves unfurl
giving cover to nesting birds
busily feeding their chicks.
Yet when feeling threatened
Nature rises in her fury
leashing forth all her rage
fighting back with awesome wrath.
When the threat is passed
her gentleness returns
her job now to succour
to bring life anew.
Tenderly tending to all
bringing colour amass
turning world to pallet
colour now everywhere abounds.
Celebrate the seasons
each one a beauty
yet all so different
her canvass full once more
