Nation Dieing

My day began as many before, get myself dressed and head out the door. Rushing to work pushing the minute, im almost late, but i won't admit it. I get to work, no momment to spare, not even time to straighten my hair. I rush to the clock, punch myself in, no momment to spare can't talk to my friends. Time clock clicks, 1 minute to spare, I made it on time, one heck of a scare. Long day ahead, this it will be, another close call, no late night for me. I spend each day overworked and tired, afraid to complain, i just might get fired. My shift now ends right on time, another day of torture, im working for dimes. Times are hard, money is tight, when can i rest, which moment is right. I work and save, my life goes nowhere, struggle each momment, does anyone care. I kneel and pray for life to ease up, I get no answer, i want to give up. With sweat and tears, we built the nation, why do we suffer from this aggravation. When will it stop, when will it end, when can we start all over again. Our hands are tied, we are not to blame, when the suffering ends, what will remain. Homeless families, children who starve, when we need help, there is noone in charge. Open your mind, and use your head, save this nation before it's dead. Please help the people, we are alone, we pick up the pieces, but only find stone. Terry B. 4/25/2012.
