Nameless Words

Nameless words There are nameless words that we choose not to speak Lest they penetrate and mean more than they mean if spoken out loud We keep them captive in our hearts and in our minds Whilst they torment us daily until we release them under duress When we speak by other means not words When our facial expressions betray their presence When our eyes melt the common boundary of words When unbidden sighs, groans, aches and laughter escape When our language belies our words or silence
