Naked Soul

i see right through you you are dirty and deformed you are an abandoned building i see the lights behind you the created lies and a cruel smile I see the problems in your life you're incomplete and the torn parts bleed honey I see your head and your flaws you are in the future you have sore feet and lost eyes I see through your soul you are naked and no one can remedy you I see through your grimy soul and you despise the solutions that would make you work I see your mistakes and setbacks nothing can save you and life has spoiled again I'm seeing right through you I'm better than you and I wash away your stained words I wash your broken bones and tongue the world was better without you looking to hide I see the lights behind you there is no one better than you I'm much worse than you there are lights behind you and we don't even know what we're doing here there are lights behind a soul that is not even yours gods won't save us and they're being questioned behind you the lights shine and you shouldn't question what medicine we should use through you i see you're dirty and there's layers of dirt all over the place and i'm gonna clean the lights illuminate a soul that is not even yours you're naked and the sky is getting farther and farther away i see right through you you are complete and your shadow is complete but it is not you i see right through you and you look beautiful and the galaxy sweats stars and the stars reflect you and the stars light up your soul I see that your soul is naked you are clean and I'm filthy wanting to dirty you

I'm not really sure who or what you are talking to here, Marco, but I suspect it is a metaphor for how we see beyond (through) the facades, even as we ourselves are facades. Which, of course, accounts for the contradictory admissions.

this is the hallucinated monologue of a man who has tasted the joys and vicissitudes of an ambiguous relationship with a woman. he criticizes her but soon after recognizes that the mistakes are within him. Thanks, Milton!
