Naked

I see him standing there, ripping every piece of clothing off from himself, I see him standing there naked, I’m feeling ashamed of myself, I’m drenched in pearls, rubies, and gold, he’s standing there naked, wet and cold, I take it for granted, the clothes that I own, I have friends, family and money, and he is alone, I feel so ashamed, of it all, This world is so big, I am so small, I need to make a difference, now I realize, I want to take sadness out of somebody’s eyes, all it took was one man, naked and afraid, to show me the reason I have been made, so stop standing there feeling prideful and great, Give some of it up, a good life will await
