Naked 12-Year-Old Jesus

My eyes were clear Despite the gray skies. We were to go to the temple today. I was to meet the rabbis and Jewish elders. To what end I don’t know. I implore love with every pathway. My Mother is shouting at me. I must find my clothes. I should stop writing these things naked.

Oh, Matt, this is delightfully hilarious!!! What mother doesn't have to "shout" at their twelve year to get dressed to go some place - any place - even Jesus! And I love the musings of twelve year old Jesus about going to the temple at the time in his life when he would be able to read and comment on the Torah. Funny how ironically, Jesus was never hidden to us and always "naked" to the world. Simply stated, this is wonderful and truly inspired. Blessings!

Thanks fort your kind words. This was inspired by a family relic, a painting of "Jesus at the Temple." It hangs in my hallway now, it used to hang in the house of my dad's grandparents!
