Myanmar 2021

My heart, torn and shattered, Yells at tyrants, a dire plea, Yet, the torture remains unbothered, No one hears my desperate plea. Fiery anger burns within my soul, Against murderers of democracy, Arrogance and firepower take control, Myanmar faces grave atrocity. Those who raise their voice, beware, For they may lie dead on the ground, Someone must make this choice, to dare, Till justice's echoes resound. World, do you care for Myanmar's plight? Remember their struggle, their pain, As darkness threatens to engulf their light, Let their plight be our refrain. Arise! Wake from comfort's slumber, Our presence, by them, is needed, No longer confined to our bubble, We must heed the oppressed voice, unimpeded. Sons and daughters of democracy, Lovers of freedom, enemies of tyranny, It's time to act, to break free, Embrace courage, uphold justice, restore unity.

Beautiful, heart-rending piece, Joselito. Love of country is so endearing...and sometimes so dangerous. Keep up the good work!

Thank you sir! Myanmar just suffered so much and I wonder if the world can do something about it more than making individual entity sanctions and condemnations that make them sounds like a barking dog contained inside the metal cage.
