My Worship
I hate to think where I’ve been
To think about the man I’ve been
My mind can’t turn from the hell I deserve
It’s like I’m broken in every nerve
Yet in the midst of everything
You took the bullet that was meant for me
You gave your life still knowing the man I am
Now I live my life in worship with all the strength I can
It’s like I can’t win the war in my mind
My mistakes stay frozen in time
How far I’ve strayed from innocence
Oh how I miss the joy of life’s bliss
Yet in the midst of everything
You took the bullet that was meant for me
You gave your life still knowing the man I am
Now I live my life in worship with all the strength I can
I’ve been given so much and had so much to lose
As I reflect, I regret every choice I choose
All I want is to be a light for the broken
Through the darkness, give them something to hope in
Because without the gift of grace, I am the worst of men
Yet in the midst of everything
You took the bullet that was meant for me
You gave your life still knowing the man I am
Now I live my life in worship with all the strength I can
