My World
I watch the round new moon
beckoning to me as if I were a slave
to the comfort it offers.
And evening winks too
of a secret that I have yet to unveil.
Though breaths acknowledge karmic signs ,
my eyes still hunt for light
and unveil them,
for when I do --
it is there I will find
all the truth of my sacred world.
