My Wish For You
My Wish For You
My dear sweet friend, I know you’re suffering
And live each day as best you can for now…
So young to be afflicted with this pain
And having life deprive you in this way.
Your little boy of three is at your side,
Together with his dad, your mother too,
So hard to see you have to live your life
On stand-by waiting for a miracle.
I wish that miracle will make its way
To save your life and let you carry on…
I wish that you can be a carefree mom
To serve your family the way you want.
I wish that you could leave your house at whim
Instead of lying down so soon each night
To be attached to home dialysis
From eight pm to three am each day.
I wish for you a kidney donor soon...
Although you’re on the list, we know for sure,
There is no guarantee that this will be
As soon as possible, or months and more.
I wish that God could somehow help you now
To be as strong as you can be while time
Does pass, and sooner than much later, He
Will answer all my wishes and my prayers
To save your life with just one kidney from
A donor who will grant my wish and yours
To let you live to see your little boy
Grow up to be a wonderful young man.
I wish for you to live as life should be
Enjoying stable health and all the joys
Of happy marriage, motherhood to last
Throughout a life of many, many years.
