My Wish For An Anonymous Friend
Dear Friend, I wish to write to you a letter
I wish to tell you things I weigh heavy on my heart
See you not these as being from my part, a blunder
Rather, take my words as a cue to give yourself a new start
Please, friend, do let go of the past
I admit that you did cling to your loved one fast
But life, as everything else, does have an ending
I am sorry that hers did come at a time when your love was blooming!
Please, see all the opportunities that do lay in front of you
You do have a heart, I am sure you still do
You do have youth, and you do have beauty
Handsome is what I would qualify you, so let go of your negativity
Do you know that everything that happens to you does have a reason
If she died, so young, maybe it was because her time was over here in this prison
This world itself someday shall come to its ending
Surely, this truth you must be knowing!
See, someday you shall regret your time wasted in lamenting
Someday when you shall be too old to even enjoy your body
You shall surely cry more than you do now, you shall realize that it was all meant to be
That life is made of suffering, never, ever is it even fulfilling!
For the coming year, my dear dear friend
I wish to see you bold to hold your stand
I wish to see you smile at life
And say, hey, am stronger than your malice!
