My Wife's Pets

My wife's pets come over me. I know what your thinking, it's hard to believe... There is Lilly and Toro, and Saranac the cat. I can honestly tell you they are all her brats. She caters to them like they had royal blood. Once in a while I might get a hug. I used to be first before they came, Now our relationship is not quite the same. Hi sweetheart remember me. "Get over it Michael, those are my babies." One of these days I'll be recognized. If it's anytime soon, It will be a surprise... Michael Tor 8/22/2015 For my wife and her animals.

Michael, this is so charming, tell your wife I understand completely, my cats are my children, and I admit spoiled and pampered but I am quite sure she has room in her heart for you too and thanks for visiting my poem, G is for Grief . . .

Paul it's a catchy thing, I think it's more common then we think. I'm sorry to hear that because, I know how you feel, you and I have experienced this. lol.

Well, that was all tongue in cheek. Of course, she is such a sweet lady. No one can love animals that much and not be golden in their hearts. We know that you speak from experience and then you embellish… Like all of us!

EXCELLENT! We are all jealous with you & wanting your wife to curl up in your lap. SUGGESTION: Last 2 stanza's trying to keep to your 3 line Rhyme format just by rearranging the words you have! PLAY WITH IT! It's very real and I know people can relate!
