My Wife

Winters are shorter summer are longer. Nights are brighter and days just glow with joy. My spring has sprung, my winters gone, my darkness fades. Every awakening is brighter than the one before it as will the next one be too. Ear to ear my smiles run deep, tears of longing no longer weep. Tears that come no longer fall silent and lost to be swept away by nothing. Tears that fall now happy and sad are caught in two hands. Not mine. Strong, loving, plentiful hands connected to a summer's soul, shining bright in even the dimmest of light.
