My Vows

To the lady that will leave me speechless with the white dress and give me that magical groom, and bride kiss I've written my vows, and they go like this I may not know your full name yet but you are whom I will share my last name with I vow to love you in all seasons With and without reasons I promise to keep you warm in the coldest weather and tell you every night that by your side the world is better I will keep my poetry deep, or if you want I will get corny sometimes One day I will quote Shakespeare then next I will make you laugh with dumb rhymes I vow to be your shelter when there is no where to run to It doesn't matter who you are cause you are the one who I wanna grow old with and when we are both ninety I will look at you and say though I didn't use my mind I still chose wisely I vow to love you when you are moody and crazy and when you are tired I will carry you to the bed and go handle our baby I vow to never lie and stay faithful I will always tell you the truth and hug you when its painful and I will get this whole thing on tape so when I'm feeling sad I can rewind and see the moment I put the ring on your finger and make you mine
