My Voice
Walk a journey of uncertainty and doubt.
Living in silence within yourself.
Use the stars as your guide tonight
When no one hears your voice this time.
Alone and scared you walk along,
Wondering when your voice will matter for once.
Questioning friendships along the way
Do they really care enough to stay?
Shout and scream but no one hears
The little voice that fights to be heard.
When it seems as though no one cares,
Look to the heavens and say a prayer.
Never will your voice go unheard,
When you are talking to the lord.
He will listen no matter where you are
God is your voice when no one hears yours.
God knows what to say when your voice fades away.
