jack, yours is short but in my opinion is one of the BEST and so poetic. I really love it.Thanks for all your comments. I can't do many comments to you like i want to due to my back hurting after staying here so long. I hope to see many more new poems from you, however. LUv, Andrea

Fantastic imagery you have here Jack! This is a great poem, with a great line..."carpeting the threadbare lawn"!! I love that line!! You'll do well in the contest!!
