My Valentine

I remember so well when we first met, You didn’t much like me then for what I had said, I just smiled and said you don’t know me yet. And then I apologized for calling you Red. Both of us were so young and so immature, But in my heart I knew our love would grow, it would endure. The first time I looked deep into your eyes, I felt something surging in my stomach like a hundred thousand butterflies. To me there was no doubt that you were that special one, You had stole my heart, my love you had won! I just want to thank you for all those joyous years you’ve given me, And my Special Valentine, you’ll always be! Happy Valentines Day!! XOXOXOXOXOXOX Working on thirty nine years ( Wow )

Oh, Ronald, if only all of us gals could find men whose hearts were so open to love. GREAT poem! Timely, too, as Valentine's Day approaches. Your lady is very lucky to have you. Carolyn
