My Trust you had is now gone, my trust I had with you is no longer there, My Trust I gave so freely, with no fear of betrayal, what was I thinking you would be a able to bear? I gave you my heart, my inner most feelings, with a open mind, I was too kind. My Trust with a poem I wrote from deep within my soul, only words on paper to you, But to me, it was my soul opening to you, to those .who choose to read, my tears I now shed, for I have been betrayed, never again will I share with you.. Betrayal Mistrust Anger Tears Sadness My Trust I gave away to those to only break it like a wine glass, to stand there and watch it shatter into million tiny pieces, all over the floor, I as myself now, Who AM I TO ADORE?
