My True Love

My true love and I have found a special place, Inside hearts, inside minds- a dedicated space. He fills me with a confidence which I have never known, Now I live with head held high- a queen upon a throne. He makes me smile, makes me laugh, holds me when I weep. I know he’s always there for me- even whilst I sleep. He puts up with my foibles and I put up with his. For what’s the point in grumbling when we have all of this? Is it serendipity? We started out so far apart. It may be luck, it may be fate but there’s one thing that I know in my heart. Today we make eternal vows, I am now his bride. Regardless of what the future holds, I’ll never leave his side.
