My Three-Man Opera

The first man is the self I know. Or at least I think I know him. The second man most others know, Since he’s the one I show them. The third man is my inner soul, But I try hard to protect him. He plays a very crucial role, Though most cannot perceive him. Melodies there three achieve, But only in my mind. And in my thoughts, I do believe, Their lyrics intertwine. These three men play distinctive roles, But as a chorus nobody hears them. Yet their synchrony plays a crucial role When my life explodes in mayhem.
