My Surrogate Daughter

Just spoke with my surrogate daughter The sweetest young treasure I've ever known A beautiful flower alone in a field Her beauty is beyond words Both her visual countenance and her inner beauty Shine forth with such brilliance To light up my life, to show me goodness A smile that exhibits an inner warmth With a glow that melts my heart There are many friends and acquaintances That have entered and exited my life But none so sweet and charming I am so proud of my darling surrogate daughter © Jack Ellison 2015

WOW! Dragon is a bit put out here. Silly Dragon! There are others in Jacks life, too... Like his Cathie, children, grand children, and friends. What you're shocked that you're not his only love? He is Santa Jack, you know! Remember that spreading the love around thing we discussed. Now, Come out of that corner and I'll dry your tears, with your favorite blankie. Gee Dragon! He loves you too! I think it's nap time for the poor fellow. He'll be fine when he wakes up... Two is such a delicate age!

A touching and gentle poem that portrays the adoration a man shows for his daughter. Well done. Emile.

You would need to know her to understand the love I have for her! Thanks Emile!
