My Special Friend

With a gentle kiss on my unshaven cheek We cuddle close But do no speak I feel you staring I look, you turn away Your heartbeat quickens, still nothing to say Those admiring eyes and that perfect face I reach for you and a quick embrace Unconditional love is your forte' Your normal routine is to lounge all day I buy you things Gifts, from the heart I tell you things because you are smart You're always cheerful, never moody And when you walk You shake your booty You melt other people Just like putty But to me--- You're just my dog "Buddy" an original poem by the "poemdog" Daniel Turner
