A night full of romance with candles and with wine Changed my mind forever about love with another guy Abuse by one who loved me or at least that claim was made Caused my heart to turn to stone and each time walked away The romance felt was special in a way never received From this man I had dinner with new feelings were conceived Oh how my heart missed romance and feel of another’s touch This time I will enjoy it without the need to rush My days are now spent in joy with the one I have grown to love Such a special bond and friendship we have in our souls To think that one fool’s actions almost caused my heart’s demise Then I would not be here standing as a beautiful blushing bride
