My Response To Rumi

For years you’ve heard others describe what they call “getting saved,” accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. You’ve listened with great interest, been moved by their sincerity, and have wished (but only briefly) to have what they say they have, all while lacking full understanding. Sometimes you feel confused, envious, even angry. You cannot yet have what they possess, for you lack a special knowledge they once had—realization of lostness. If you want to be found, you must see that you are LOST. December 14, 2016 "If you desire healing, let yourself fall ill let yourself fall ill." Jalaluddin Rumi entered in Brian Strand's Springtime Premium Contest on May 18, 2017

Congratulations, Janice. : ) I think we find that there are many losings, and many things to be found. Best wishes for that seemingly impossibly high number: 2017.

Lostness is truly a saviour. Been there, done that and have that T-shirt to wear. It is not wearing me down, but lifting me up. Congratulations on your win, Kai

Some very wise observations, Mrs Janice. I think the most important line in the poem to me is "if you want to be found" that is a big "if" Some do not wish to be found. Love the write:)
