Return to me my Life! Five years Five whole years Five broken years Of sickness Of near-death Of coma I will not let myself fall ill again He did that to me, they did that to me I will not allow them to break me The way they once broke me I will close my eyes I will close my thoughts I will be silent I will not be ill I refuse to be ill again My determination will prevent it. Hey Darren. I think, that best poems come from personal experiences. Putting yourself in other people's stuff is also creative and imaginative, but lacing your own shoes is way is poetry in motion...

Andrea, much of what I write is based on my experiences. but I hope I never write TOO obvious :) I also hope that we are allowed to give an interpretation that is not necessarily based on truth, but on our own poetic interpretation. Thank you and good luck to you, off to read yours now!

Oh, I so relate that I felt each word and concur with a resounding permission given to all pain, that it may leave, we do not need or want it anymore. Well done, the sincerity is intense to me and any other reader who has completely broken in their life ... CayCay
