My Pursuit

I am here for a reason I know, I am not here because I have to, I am drowning and floundering at times, But I have faith in what I have to do. I might not be what all perceive, May not be what all want, But deep within ,inside me, I can hear the Cosmic Chant. I can see HIM smile when I smile , And So I Smile all the time, While people feel I have lost my mind, Smiling without any reason or rhyme. I strive to push HIM Away at times, but even closer HE Clings, And if I am Sad and Alone, He takes Me Under His Wings. I know that I have to Know Myself, For me to fully understand HIM, And I know that He will always guide me, I know the Light will never go dim. I am in pursuit Of Myself, So as to be closer to Thee, For Me everything is a learning, That brings me closer to “Me”.
