My Pursuit
Removed from society,
Out of its tentacles,
Faced with another world,
Falling into its embrace,
I ask if it's what I want.
Removed from society,
I open another door,
I see an unperturbed view,
I wished this would be eternal.
Removed from society,
I walk through the woods,
I'm in a home with nature,
I'm at ease in my chambers,
The value of time with her is worthwhile,
Removed from society,
It's a step into a new world,
A halo of peace surrounds,
I glide in its ambience.
Removed from society,
It's not a barbwire reform,
It's a search for unclouded skies,
A home beyond dreams.
