My Prison

My heart is in a prison of sadness which I can not escape No matter how much I pull the bars of unhappiness they will not brake What will it take to set me free? Do you have the key to my door? Open it so I can be free once more, free from this prison because to loneliness I am a slave and though I never misbehave I am beaten with sadness every day Please take these chins away from me they are heavy with pain and tears But if you really care for me take away my fears Show me that love is something real Tell me what it is Show me how it feels Surround me with happiness, love joy and peace I need them all if my life is to be complete My heart is in a prison Will you be the one to help it escape?
