My Prayer

Merciful, generous, loving Father, May you carry my feet farther; And lift my life to heights higher; And make my days brighter. I don't know how to pray like I should, So I cry more often than I would. But tonight,I bring it all to you; Right now, I choose to share it all with you. In your chambers, I am safe and I feel confident, And I believe I will make it, for you make me competent. Merciful, generous, loving Father, Teach me to work harder, That I may be a useful creation of yours. Stay with me, everyday, for all the years. I don't know how to pray, Wipe my tears and teach me how to pray. Hear my humble cry, dear lord, And wash me with your precious blood. Amen.
