My Poetic Journey

My journey started in a small way.. Walking, jogging, sometimes running. It has started and stopped, Been derailed by arid landscapes, and drowned by self doubt. While the view is ever changing And the road can be bumpy, The journey has been the thing That stays with me during bleak times, And lights the dark parts of my heart.

There is a sense of quietness and peace here. A meditative resolve that only a muse can make. I love this gentle poem for its greatness is made from the cloth of simple truth. All the best in the contest, Barbara. One love.
