My Perfect World
I close my eyes just to open them again
I find myself in a place I've never been
Every thing is perfect, the sky is always blue
Outside is nice and warm to
No one has to work because no one needs money
Every ones life is exactly how they want it
Everything is always peaceful
No guns, no fights, no robbers,no knives
Kids play freely without a care
No one ever hurts or feels pain from despair
Every one is kind and gets what they need and
Don't have to go to the government and plea
No one goes hungry, or homeless
No one gets made fun of
Every one is free, free as a dove
I lie down in the grass and I close my eyes
Just to open them to find myself in my bed
Its back to reality, where nothing is just right
My perfect little world has up and gone good bye
But at least I know I can go back anytime when I close my eyes
Back to the real world where sex and drugs support thugs
Child's thoughts of suicide from taking all the drugs
Doctors, school, and parents think it prevents them from the chokes
Guns and knives, robbers and pointless fights
Problems at home, relationships gone bad
People struggle just to eat
Coming home late just to complain about their feet
I work so hard not to get far
I try to get up to where I want to be
Something always pulls me back
Feels like I am always being attacked
When I close my eyes it takes me back
To my perfect world where I want to be
