My Peaceful Place

I close my eyes Drift away To another time Some other day I'm walking through the forrest Looking up between the trees The sun is cutting through the leaves Warming my head with her beams I'm fully alive I'm breathing fine All in my world at peace The further that I walk along It slowly becomes more steep The ground starts becoming rocks No longer dirt beneath my feet I know somehow At the top of this is more beauty to be seen I continue upward Wayward Making sure to not lose my foot At last I'm at the top of it What a sight to take in A lovely flowing waterfall Cleansing all of natures flaws Just carrying them away It truly is a peaceful place This beautiful serene scene A place to stop and take it in Away from the chaos of everyday
