My Path
I came to a path that showed me the way
It lead me to night and It lead me to day
There was never a one way or dead end
There was never a message I tried to send
the words are simple and the meaning is there
The paths are uneven, and life isn't fare
I walked and walked until sweat stroked my cheek
I walked and walked until my existence was week
I fell to my knees and asked for a sign
something that would tell me which path is mine
But the path just grows longer and it winds into the sky
If only it were easy, if only I could fly
over the trees over the clouds
but the words are simple and the meaning is true
so I kept on walking if only I flew
