It's not my choice to leave, but I'll not see you again.
Children, this abrupt departure inflicts me with pain.
I know you don't understand. I've no time to explain.
Three things I'll say: Don't let your dreams die in vain.
That philosophical remark will not make me seem wise,
but I know you'll laugh at my feeble attempt at the guise.
Secondly, always tell the truth and you will fear no reprise
Because you're going to being observed by your little guys.
Third: Stay strong in faith and thank God when you pray.
I'm leaving kisses and hugs, wish I could hold you today.
Remember how much I love you. One last thing I'll say,
You live within my heart. No one can ever take that away.
