My Part In Your Play
Anything you asked for, it was done.
Just had to say my name.
I did it for love, while you were just playing games.
Little did I know, a pawn in your show.
Played my part well, always do and never tell.
Back Burner
Behind the Door
Under the Bed
Pick you up off the Floor
Other side of the Curtain
Lifting you up to be more
Whatever you said I believed.
No matter how many times you deceived.
I will never again do the things I did for you.
The final countdown of compromise finally in view.
You took my dreams, and made them yours.
Kept the walls but tore up the floors.
No longer taking my part in your play.
Far all that I have given, silence is all you say.
Your life is only because of me.
I played my part then fought to be free.
Now on the outside of your cage.
I take the forgiveness and leave the rage.
