My Pal Murphy

My best friend is a dog named Murphy, he has been by my side now for eleven loyal years. Murphy is such a strange dog, lovable, but strange, when a person gets the hiccups people say boo, to get them to stop, Murphy hates it when we get them. So he starts to shake like crazy, of course when we say boo, it is even worse. Never seen a dog get so ashamed when he is praised, he puts his paw out to you, he thinks he's being punished. Every time Murphy meets a new person, he also puts out his paw to greet them. He is scared to death of moths, so when you say the word, he starts to shake, he is one strange dog. Smartest dog I ever saw, he knows who we are, so even before we walk in the door, if you mention our names and say were home, he will start to bark. He may be one strange dog, but he's my pal, love him with all my heart and would not trade him for all the money in the world. wrote 8-6-08

Oh, James, you sweetheart, you. My very best friend in thr entire world, Eugene (my loyal dog-friend-family) had to be put down due to horrible mouth cancer last year, and I will never ever get over losing him - we just understood eachother - best friends forever, my boy and me - I miss him terribly, and this beautiful poem reminded me of my strange-quirky Eugene. :) Thank you, awesome poem, Love Kristin

My dog is pretty strange too, but I will not go into details. : ) He is my shadow and I consider him my third child. He does shake terribly when it thunders and on the 4th of July. The unconditional love is truly a thing of joy. Love, Shar

My son's dog, a chihauhua, is named Murphy. He's brought more happiness to this family than most humans. The doctor's gave him 6 mos to a year a few monthes ago. He's just loveable, no other word could describe him. I know how you feel. Vince
