My Own Prison

Day to day I lived, I thought I knew it all. Then when I met you, How could I but not fall. I lived a life of hope, To dream was my way out, Time had passed so fast, I wondered without a doubt. Inside I'll always have you, I'd never let you go, My outside will be empty, Too never see that glow. I live in my own prison, I built these walls of stone, Without you by my side, I'm destined to be alone.
