My Only Wish
I sat up late last night for I could not sleep,
I lay awake for thoughts in my head would creep.
The thought of one day I would die,
The thought that one day you wouldn’t be by my side.
I could not bare being without you baby girl,
For you are my everything, my world.
I love you with every beat of my heart,
I could not stand ever being apart.
If it is true you could wish on a star,
I would not wish for money or a fancy car.
The wish I would ask to come true,
Would to be on this earth just as long as you.
I would wish for us both to live forever,
So we would never have to say good-bye, never.
That would be my only wish for I need nothing else in this world,
But only you Jori, my sweet little girl.
