My Only Name

Nature sparks the little bit of life left within me. The emotion that hides behind my eyes. A river ready to downpour. Smiles rarely cross my face, nor do I let a frown escape. One with the earth, I am tonight. Who Am I. Where Do I Belong? But a simple poet lost in my own song. Look away from love, for it leaves eternal hurt. Walk away from hate, for you'll feel like dirt. Forgive and forget, the bad and the hurt. Live and love, the the smiles and the good. I am but a poet, trapped into time. The Lost Little Poet. The only name Of Mine.

This is a truly beautiful poem Jay - so unpretentious, so comfortable with what you are, finding strength in your mystery - being lost is better than being dead - lines 3 & 8 are very nourishing metaphors my friend - so glad I found the ' Lost Little Poet ' - J.A.B. %
