My Nubian Queen

I was a man depressed And my heart was crushed But like lush sweet grass Nubian Queen you came And revive my heart My mind with your voice and your touch I think I never loved Anyone quite as much Before you stepped in my world It was so lonely, cold and dark Nubian Queen I knew you From a long time ago Can't believe you've decided To take me up on my call Nubian Queen you came from far And you knocked me right back off my feet Just when I thought That I was burning up Down and out In the heat of the nihgt Then you came and said That we'll make it through You and I In the heat of night Nubian Queen You are a true angel You are my one finger in the air
