My Nightmare
It was a dark and gloomy night
A lot was running through my brain
My cousin and I started a fight
And in my heart, I felt a sharp pain
I wake up in a tight, black space
I didn’t know what to do
With a pitch, black wall against my face
My worst fear was becoming true
I tried to move, I tried to scream
I noticed that I could not be heard
I was hoping that this was a bad dream
And from the outside, no one could hear a word
I was carried away, like on a stretcher bed
I asked myself, “What is this place?”
I started to realize, they thought I was dead
And being carried to my final resting place
I tried to break free
I tried to survive
I gave up, and it came to me
That I was being buried alive.
