You have made me laugh with your acrostic, dear Natalie.....and cheer is what we need on the end of this years gloomy economic times!!! So as for just the two of us competing with our new years poem....I think it is YOU who is the stand-out!!!!! darn, I should not have taken the serious route!!! Well, this is about the hardest form for me, but you look like a natural. About the haiku being Nature. Can also be about the nature of man. Which also includes mans posessions. Also contrary to popular thought, they can be funny.

You are going to be very busy in the upcoming year, Nat! Acrostics suit you very well...I love the rhyming sort the most. The couplets in the word HAPPY are superb and my fav part of your message...it's the sign of a wonderful person that wishes everyone success..Not offended at all that you are not studying to be a haiku master like Debbie..She sure has some sharp moves..and a great juxtaposition too! ha ha. Hinshaw, Moorman, Carolyn, Lane, and you are amongst my fav rhymers at the present. ;)
