My Nephew, My Angel

Gazing into your angelic eyes All around, echo your cries With tiny feet, tiny palms I cradle you, in my arms From sunset until sunrise. Your pretty smile, I love to see You mean the world to me Care for you all day all night Never let you be out of sight On my mind, in my heart you be. When in grief with tears to hide, To seek advice or to confide, Your aunt will lend a patient ear, Or a shoulder to rest your tear, You will find me by your side. We've met just a while ago Yet each other, we seem to know Will always wish the best for you May you succeed in what you do Can't wait to see you grow.
