A friend who only wants the best for you Someone to share your deepest lows and your greatest joy’s Who will wipe away your tear’s through their own Who does not want you to suffer one ounce of hurt And says it will be alright when you cant see how Who stands by you especially when you fail Who tells you, you done your best Even when you don’t think so. Someone who has seen you learn everything And has probably taught you most of it Is proud of every achievement however small Listens to your endless dreams and smiles Realising she has shaped who you have become Will defend you against all the odds with unwavering loyalty and would lay down her life to save yours without a second thought That is a mum …..
