My Mirror

When I look in my mirror What do I see An older lady looking back at me I don't go out dancing so I sit home alone No one remembers no one even phones I used to be the bell of the ball now I sit home alone not even a call My dance book was filled with the handsomest of men Now i know that i will never see them again You'd think that, that would bother me Well you'd be o so wrong Because I can smile and remember so clearly the dance and the song Again I lookk in my mirror And the wrinkles and the grey hair are all gone So I turn on the music and dance and sing along Because God gave me a special gift called memory And as long as I can remember I can always see All the things that I used to be
