My Lover
My lover, he waits for me, at the foot of a balcony,
Where fences stunt my arrival.
My lover, he waits for me, in the lands of secrecy,
His lone wail a whispering wind.
My lover, oh how he waits for me! when he knows it cannot be,
And my heart as glass is cascading down in tears.
My lover, I see, has set- spread- his wings,
In his final wait, and leaps,
For not once did I appear.
