My Love, My Life
Passionate hours in beauties witness,
denote my final addiction,
for you my love,
are all I shall ever need to survive
My soul feeds on your strength
My heart laps at the pools of your serenity
and my love is filled to overflowing
in the gaze from your adoring eyes
the hours spent in the presence of your goodness
heals my weary soul
and the passion we hold for one another
continues to burst into flames of desire
time and time again
as the love we know only deepens with age
and the vows we spoke, only days ago
have left years of happiness in their wake
Nothing more do I need
for you, my Love, are my life,
the addiction is total
without you is nothingness
and the end of all that is good and right and beautiful
