My Lost Treasure
Drawn into disillusion
Of thinking
That I’m the worst creation
But you proved me wrong,
By loving me, so strong!
Your folk admired me; but, your god didn’t!
Mine, was ready to meet you,
But, my god wouldn’t allow it to happen!
Our romance continued
For we never gave a fig, what others would say?!
But, the jealous gods, with all their might
Separated us apart, breaking our heart!
O, Jamlaila, my lost treasure!
Here I am, longing for the cure
That you alone can give, for I still love you!
